About Diagnostics

The Diagnostics Division at DYN consists of Applications and Scientific Support department, the Molecular Biology and Applied Science department, and the activities of the subsidiary DYN Labs, an advanced genomics center located at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.

The Applications and Scientific Support department focuses on providing scientific and engineering support for IVD equipment. The department's personnel, who are largely from the life sciences, engage in sales promotion and scientific/application support in all areas of medical lab systems and patient bedside systems. DYN's highly trained service team provides support to large labs in hospitals or health funds as well as to small-scale private labs. DYN also offers technical support for lab systems provided by experienced and skilled service engineers, who carry out installations, preventive maintenance services, servicing treatments and repair of malfunctions. Service is offered nationwide and available everyday throughout the year, with the call center receiving service calls 24 hours a day.

The Molecular Biology and Applied Science department at DYN specializes in a broad spectrum of molecular biology areas, such as real-time PCR, DNA isolation and more, as well as in a range of applied science areas. We market, implement and support molecular systems in the fields of medicine, research, biotechnology and agriculture. The department's staff includes people specializing in a variety of areas, such as molecular diagnostics, nucleotide synthesis systems, qPCR systems, etc.

DYN Labs is an advanced genomics center operating in two major fields – personalized medicine and R&D services. In the field of personalized medicine, we run an advanced pharmacogenetics lab which provides pharmacy compounding services (preparation of customized medications for patients) based on the patient's genetic background, as well as other tests. In the field of applied science, DYN Labs supports collaborations with the scientific and medical community to develop new clinical diagnostic tests, offering services that include research consulting and design, implementation of research projects and data analysis suited to the research's needs. DYN Labs is certified by the Ministry of Health, and is recognized as a competent lab under the requirements of the international standard for lab certification – ISO 15189.
